Our client, is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Assessment Officer to support the delivery of their Flexible Funding Program. Based at their Carnegie office, this part-time role provides both operational and administrative support by assessing funding applications, checking eligibility and expenditure, and assisting carers through the online application process. This role does have flexibility for one day WFH.
You’ll be the key point of contact for carers—assessing applications, notifying them of outcomes, following up on required documentation, and providing guidance through the process. Strong communication and people skills are essential, along with a customer service mindset and confidence working with sensitive information.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assess Flexible Funding applications and determine eligibility
• Notify carers of outcomes and follow up missing documentation
• Assist families and carers to navigate the online application portal
• Respond to calls and email enquiries related to funding
• Enter and manage data in internal CRM and funding databases
• Provide administrative support to the Senior Worker, Flexible Funding

What Do You Need?

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service background, preferably in a community or admin setting
• Experience in a similar role
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Confidence using online systems and CRM databases
• Working with Children Check and Police Check required
