Are you a qualified Heavy Diesel, Truck, or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic looking for stable, long term work close to home? We’re seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join a modern, well equipped workshop in Burnie, working on a range of Kenworth, DAF, Isuzu, Fuso trucks, as well as a range of mobile plant.

The Role:

• Monday to Friday
• Optional overtime on Saturdays
• 07:30-17:00
• $70PH + super
• Weekly pay
• Immediate start
• Ongoing, secure work

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform servicing, repairs, rebuilds, and maintenance on heavy vehicles (trucks and construction equipment)
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults using modern diagnostic tools
• Overhaul engines, repair transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure fleet reliability
• Work safely and efficiently in a well-resourced workshop
• Keep accurate service records and collaborate with the team

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic (Cert III or equivalent, International Trade Cert Accepted)
• Hands-on experience with Kenworth, DAF, Isuzu, Fuso, or similar brands of trucks (Construction equipment/mobile plant is a bonus)
• Confident in diagnostics and fault finding using computer-based systems
• Strong work ethic and a safety-first mindset
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
