About the role

This full-time Accountant position at Propel Business Group is based in the vibrant South Perth WA 6151 area. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in providing expert taxation and accounting services to our diverse client base, contributing to the overall success and growth of our dynamic firm.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and lodging tax returns for individuals, businesses, and trusts

Providing tax planning and advisory services to help clients minimise their tax liabilities

Performing financial reporting and analysis, including the preparation of financial statements

Advising clients on a wide range of accounting and business matters

Contributing to the development and implementation of firm-wide processes and procedures

Collaborating with the broader team to deliver exceptional client service

What we're looking for

Tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field

Membership of a professional accounting body (e.g. CA, CPA, or equivalent)

Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in a similar accounting role

Strong technical knowledge of taxation legislation and accounting standards

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Exceptional communication and client-facing skills

Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
