Senior Electrical Engineer

Location: Gladstone, QLD

Project: SUSCAP Mining & Mineral Processing Projects

Duration: 12 Months Casual Contract

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver and perform electrical engineering services in accordance to the statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.

Assist with the preparation of proposals, estimates, budgets and schedules.

Provide assistance during procurement, construction and commissioning activities (write requisitions, conduct technical bid evaluations and write purchase orders).

Assist with the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations, and reports.

Attend site visits and participate in project reviews, HAZIDs/HAZOPs, and safety in design workshops as required.

Qualifications:

Based in Gladstone.

Bachelor of Engineering - Electrical (essential) accredited by Engineers Australia.

10 years' experience in electrical and instrumentation design in the Refinery/Mining industry or similar.

Proficiency in brownfield electrical systems modification detailed design and knowledge of instrumentation and control system interfaces.

RPEQ Certification
