We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Civil Engineering Draftsperson (Steel Structurer Drafter) to join our growing team in Cronulla. In this role as the Draftsperson, you will digitally drive efficiency in construction process through detailed 3D modelling. You will be responsible for 3D modelling from architectural and structural drawings to produce documents, files and shop drawings suitable for onsite and off-site manufacturing & prefabrication.

Key Responsibilities:

3D modelling (AutoCAD, Revit or Tekla).

Collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers to develop and refine building design drafts.

Creating, updating, and maintaining detailed building drawings using BIM software.

Preparing technical drawings and documentation for various stages of the project lifecycle.

Assisting with clash detection, construction detailing, and ensuring design integrity across various building projects.

Evaluating and managing building design components within BIM to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.

Ensuring all drafts meet company standards and comply with relevant codes and regulations.

Qualifications:

· Associate degree, advanced diploma or diploma in civil construction design or equivalent. Desirable Civil Engineering bachelor degree.

Experience:

· At least one-year full time of work in this occupation.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Draftsperson, ideally with a background in design management or BIM-based projects.

Experience in steel and metalwork fabrication workshop drawing and assemblies.

proficient in reading and interpreting architectural and structural plans and details.

Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and clarity in documentation.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Salary & Benefits:

Competitive salary between $77,000 to $95,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Superannuation paid in addition to salary.
