$35 per hour based on experience

We are expanding again! Our specialist clinic is expanding and searching for an experienced medical receptionist to join our team on a casual basis. We offer a friendly environment and above award level wages. The right candidate will have the opportunity to extend their hours in the future and secure a permanent position if desired.

Roles and Responsibilities

Providing professional reception services

Collecting and entering patient details into the practice management software

Answering phone calls and handling mail

Appointment book management

Billing

Scanning and linking patient correspondence

Maintaining medical records with accuracy and confidentiality

Liaising with patients, referrers and other health care providers.

Criteria

Experience in a Specialist Environment (desirable)

Experienced with Best Practice Software (desirable)

A friendly and energetic temperament

Experience with Medicare and private billings (desirable)

Authority to work in Australia (required)

Reliability

Ability to multi task and prioritise

Ability to work independently
