Grand Touring NT is seeking a part time Reservations Clerk to assist our Operations Team in Winnellie.

About the Role

Your main duties and responsibilities will include handle quotation, booking and general customer enquiries whilst ensuring a constant focus on excellent customer service:

Answering the phone, including the screening of callers and forwarding of calls to other internal departments

Prepare and input charter quotations requested via phone, email or online into CMS

Ensure competitiveness and consistency with charter quotations through the use of the pricing module and customers’ historical data

Follow up charter quotes by automated email and by phone call

Contact guests as required to retrieve information and communicate any changes

Play crucial support to our operations team ensuring the smooth running of tours

Provide assistance to Operations regarding job detail or status updates

Attend the reception desk as required

Conditions:

Monday to Friday role from 8:00am and 4:00pm

Overtime available in the busy tourism seasons

About You

This role would be best suited to those with a strong customer service background.

Exceptional customer service and people skills

Good verbal and written communication skills

Be well presented and possess excellent customer service skills

Be a team orientated person with the ability to use your own initiative

Experience in the tourism industry would be highly regarded

Previous experience with CMS booking system preferred but not required
