About the role
IMPACT Community Services has been granted funding for an exciting new program. Pathways to Early Learning & Development (PELD) is a program integrating family support and early childhood education for children aged between 0-7 years. It is designed to improve children’s experience of early childhood education by tailoring family support. The program supports the geographical area of the Wide Bay and North Burnett.
We are seeking a superstar Case Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Bundaberg, QLD.
As a Case Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting children, youth and families within our community services and development programs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve.
This role is full time fixed term until 31 December 2027, based at our Bundaberg HQ. Travel within the Wide Bay and North Burnett area will be required in which a company vehicle is available.
What you'll be doing
Provide an integrated and holistic service to support children aged 0 – 7 years and their families
by facilitating programs i.e. playgroups.
Develop and deliver onsite and home activities based on children's individual goals.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to sustain partnerships and deliver comprehensive, wrap-around support.
Maintain detailed case notes and records in accordance with organisational and departmental policies and procedures.
What we're looking for
Diploma of Early Childhood Education or equivalent relevant experience.
Experience working with children up to aged 7.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and work effectively with diverse client groups.
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and organisational skills.
Commitment to the principles of social justice and a thorough understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable individuals and families.
