Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate Creditworthiness: Assess the financial stability of new and existing customers through thorough financial analysis, credit checks, and industry research.

Enforce Credit Policies: Establish and enforce credit policies and procedures to mitigate risk while supporting sales growth.

Monitor Accounts: Keep track of customer credit limits, payment terms, and outstanding balances, taking proactive measures to address potential issues or delinquencies.

Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with Finance Manager and Structural team to review credit applications, negotiate terms, and resolve credit-related disputes.

Responsible for Accounts Receivable: Manage the entire accounts receivable process, including billing, invoicing, collections, and cash application.

Optimize Cash Flow: Develop and implement strategies to optimize cash flow, reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and minimize bad debt losses. Actively follow up and investigate overdue client payments.

Review and Report: Conduct regular reviews of aging reports and collection activities, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

Insurance and Reporting: Participate in debtor insurance renewals and report overdue debtors to the insurer.

Streamline Processes: Support the streamlining of billing processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement automation solutions to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Build Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with customers, sales representatives, and internal stakeholders to facilitate effective credit management and collections processes.

Communicate Effectively: Clearly and professionally communicate with customers regarding credit terms, payment expectations, and overdue accounts.
