Our Centre Cook is responsible for preparing fresh and wholesome meals each day whilst ensuring each child's health and wellbeing is catered for.

Here at Natural Beginnings Childcare Centre, we love creating unique and delicious food for our children to experience. We are looking for a passionate cook to join our team of educators.

Your daily duties will consist of:

Preparing nutritional meals (Morning Tea, Lunch, and Afternoon Tea)

Ensuring all meals prepared meet special dietary requirements of children with allergies and cultural preferences

Creating and embedding a wholesome menu

Purchasing and ordering stock within Centre budget

Implement safe food handling practices and procedures

Maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene within the food preparation area

Communicate positively with all children, families, and staff on a daily basis

Competitive remuneration

Essential Criteria:

Food Safety Supervisor Certificate for Childcare - or be willing to obtain

Working With Children Check - Blue Card

Ability to work independently

Excellent time-management skills

Knowledge of food handling procedures

Previous experiencing within an early childhood setting is desirable however not essential
