Role:
We are seeking a motivated Payroll & People & Culture Officer to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong payroll background who is also looking to expand their HR skillset in a supportive and values-led environment.

About the Role
Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you will take ownership of payroll and provide hands-on support across generalist HR activities. This includes:

• Processing end-to-end payroll on a fortnightly basis
• Managing ad hoc payments, terminations, superannuation and leave queries
• Being the first point of contact for payroll enquiries
• Supporting HR processes including recruitment admin, onboarding, contracts and employee records
• Handling payroll compliance and reporting
• Working closely with internal managers and external stakeholders
• Maintaining and supporting the use of their HRIS (Zambion)

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in end-to-end payroll processing
• Confidence using payroll and HR systems (Zambion experience is ideal but not essential)
• A proactive and detail-oriented approach
• Comfortable working with Excel (including formulas and spreadsheets for reporting)
• Great communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• An interest in developing further HR skills within a supportive team
