Position Available: Hydraulic Fitter

We are looking for an experienced hydraulic fitter to join team of skilled personnel.

This position will be responsible for:

Review technical drawings and specifications to deter appropriate work procedures for hydraulic system and repairs

Assemble components and subassemblies using various tools and equipment

Fabricate and install hydraulic pipework and fittings, including cutting, threading bending and securing steel and flexible lines.

Fitting basic 24v electronic and pneumatic systems

Testing finished units

Conduct system diagnostics and maintaining accurate records of service, repairs and part replacements, including testing data and schematics.

Carry out preventative maintenance, repairs, or overhauls of pumps, valves, actuators and cylinders.

Install and align hydraulic machinery and equipment on site ensuring compliance with operational and safety requirements

Hours worked:

7:00am-3:30pm Monday to Thursday

7:00am-1:00pm Friday

Successful applicants must have:

Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or Equivalent

Relevant previous experience

Ability to work autonomously

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Machining experience desirable but not required
