About the role

Diptech Performance Yamaha is seeking a talented and experienced Marine Mechanic to join our team in Epping, VIC. As a full-time team member, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of a range of marine vessels, ensuring they are operating at peak performance. What you'll be doing

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic issues on a variety of marine engines and vessels
• Conduct scheduled maintenance inspections and services to prevent future breakdowns
• Liaise with customers to understand their needs and provide high-quality customer service
• Prepare detailed reports on the work carried out and parts used
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technological advancements
• Prioritise safety at all times and ensure a clean and organised work environment

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification in Marine Mechanics or a related Automotive Trades field
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Marine Mechanic, with a strong understanding of marine engine systems
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues
• Strong customer service orientation and the ability to communicate technical information effectively
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with industry developments
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team
