Provide Geographic Information Services (GIS) services - place and location-based maps, visualisations and reports

Contribute to Administering ECQ's internal web mapping system. ECQ currently uses MapInfo and Spectrum Spatial Analyst, but ECQ may move to ESRI ArcGIS and Maptitude.

Develop analytics, reporting and dashboards to support data driven decision making.

Collect, analyse and store geographic information in line with ECQs overall approach to data governance.

Contribute to the ongoing development of data management systems and associated processes for the collection, recording and reporting of information at ECQ.

Contributing to the successful delivery of election projects as required. Including preparation of maps and statistical reports to support ECQ projects and business functions.

Provide expertise and practical advice on the potential impacts of new and emerging spatial and data technologies that may influence the future direction of work undertaken at ECQ. This includes strategic advice, recommendations, reports and cartographic products.

Provide a customer-centric approach to the provision of technical services and advice, focussed on the timely, accurate and transparent delivery of services to stakeholders across ECQ.

Maintain internal and external relationships across ECQ, the sector, other electoral agencies and end user stakeholders

Participate actively and take a team approach in all facets of election operations, and assist with the organisation and conduct of electoral events wherever required; and Consistently display the ECQ and Queensland Government values, ensuring that these are upheld at all levels of the organisation.
