We are seeking an experienced and reliable Maintenance Fitter to join a well-established food production facility. Working as part of a close-knit maintenance team, you'll be responsible for ensuring equipment operates efficiently, safely, and with minimal downtime.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong mechanical skills and a background in food, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine, preventive, and breakdown maintenance on production equipment (e.g., conveyors, ovens, mixers, and packaging machinery).

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults to minimise downtime and ensure production continuity.

Carry out safety checks and ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and other food safety regulations.

Work closely with production and engineering teams to improve equipment performance.

Accurately complete maintenance records and work orders.

Assist with installation and commissioning of new machinery and upgrades.

About You:
Trade-qualified Fitter (Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical Trade or equivalent).

Previous experience in food or beverage manufacturing highly regarded.

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Understanding of safety, hygiene, and food industry standards.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
