What are we looking for

As a Maintenance Fitter at Central Agri Group, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of agricultural machinery and equipment. Your role will involve diagnosing mechanical issues, ensuring optimal performance, and adhering to safety standards. Collaborating with a skilled team, you'll contribute to the efficiency and reliability of our operations, supporting the agricultural industry in delivering high-quality products.

Role requirements

• Undertake breakdown fault finding and repairs across various areas of plant
• Undertake preventative maintenance on critical equipment including pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
• Mentor a team of apprentices to ensure the business meets its skills and training objectives

About you

• Must hold a Cert III in Mechanical Engineering or have 3 years of relevant work experience
• Ability to problem solve and work efficiently
• Ability to prioritise job items
• Keen eye for detail including reporting issues or areas for preventative maintenance
