About the role:

Take the lead in the design, development, and delivery of electrical systems and infrastructure for a range of LNG projects.

This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients, providing technical leadership to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions that align with project goals and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

Lead the delivery of electrical designs for HV and LV systems, including switchgear and power distribution

Conduct technical investigations and feasibility studies

Prepare, review, and approve detailed design documentation, specifications, and drawings

Mentor and support junior engineers and drafters

Ensure compliance with Australian standards, industry regulations, and safety requirements

Oversee project schedules, budgets, and technical deliverables

Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)

Proven experience in electrical engineering, ideally within LNG or related heavy industries

RPEQ or Chartered Engineer status (preferred or working towards)

In-depth knowledge of Australian electrical standards and regulations

Proficiency with design tools such as ETAP, PowerCAD, AutoCAD, or similar

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Prior experience in oil & gas brownfields projects is essential
