Great opportunity for an experienced Site Supervisor to join the team to commence a Class 2 project from day one to completion.

As our Site Supervisor you will be responsible for managing the entire site works and activities on a daily basis, working closely with the Project Manager to successfully complete the project.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of the project, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards, building codes, and safety regulations.

Supervise and coordinate site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers through all stages of construction with clear accountable direction, guidance, and support to ensure project objectives are met.

Ensuring all trades and employees on site are working correctly and needs to have full control of all activities on site and Indepth knowledge of stages being worked on, starting with hourly walk through all areas to ensure correct activities are occurring,

Having a strong proactive approach rather than reactive to all upcoming trades and understanding the importance of planning ahead both with suppliers/ material and sub-contractors schedules and open communication to avoid issues on site.

Monitor and maintain the highest quality standards throughout the construction process, documenting and conducting inspections and quality checks regularly for key milestones.

Enforce a safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations, and addressing any safety concerns promptly.

Maintain open and transparent communication with the Project manager, providing project updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring project is on track.

Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily site diary, pre starts, Inductions, ITPs, progress reports, permits, and compliance records at all stages

Identify and resolve construction-related issues, early warning and proactive approach to issues and ability to find and troubleshoot on the go and adapt to changing project conditions.

Create and manage construction schedules/ programs, making necessary adjustments to meet project milestones and deadlines.

Coordinate the procurement of materials and manage supplier relationships to maintain a steady flow of construction materials.

Qualifications and Requirements

Local experience as a Foreperson or Supervisor in medium density class 2 building with multi-level basement.

Proven experience delivering civil, structural, finishes, and external works

Strong understanding of site sequencing, short-term programming, and coordination

Successful delivery of residential or mixed-use projects

In-depth knowledge of construction processes, codes, and safety regulations.

Exceptional leadership and team management skills.

Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Familiarity with project management tools and proficiency in Office software.
