Plant Operator Labourer - Works & Services (Casual)

Level 2 - $43.10* per hour + 11.5% Superannuation

*Increasing to $44.83 per hour as of 1st July 2025

The Role

You'll be instrumental in delivering maintenance services across the town, including:

  • Plant and Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily checks, maintain, and correctly use all plant and equipment, including PPE.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage risks in daily tasks and projects.
  • Works & Services: Engage in routine road maintenance, including road patching, shoulder and drainage maintenance, and general labour duties.
  • Compliance and Integrity: Adhere to WHS regulations, maintain good working relations, and upholding organizational values.
  • Optimized Plant Operations: Ensure the right plant type and capacities are utilized for all work requests, maximizing efficiency.

Work Related Requirements

The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:

  • Current HR class drivers' licence
  • White Card

  • Current 'C' class driver's license
