About the Role

The Operational Readiness Lead will coordinate engineering activities for Capital Expansion Projects, to ensure an effective handover to operations. Focusing on coordinating maintenance services to support project delivery of bulk processing and fill/finishing production lines.

This role will be responsible for achieving the objectives set by our Associate Director, System Owner, Maintenance and Utilities, and Project Manager, while also fostering collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Duration: This role is a contract with start date of ASAP ending 7/5/2026. Preference for candidates who can work for the full duration and potentially extend.

Start: ASAP

Capacity: All on-site but occasional hours from home on adhoc basis. (eg 3-5 days per month could be done from home, but depends on the project stage)

Location: Broadmeadows

Responsibilities

Operational readiness

Ensuring when plant is handed over its safe, reviewing maintenance

Input into project throughout process

Engineering and maintenance functions, factor acceptance testing site installation and commissioning (75% complete already)

Drawings and isolation plans

Focus on maintenance – preventative maintenance, spare parts assessments (large portion completed already)

Failure mode analysis – assessing what can be done to prevent failures

Conduit between project and site engineering functions

Will work between maintenance team to ensure decisions made are in best interest of engineering function and alignment with other facilities

Will work with SAP Data entry and E&I team (don’t need to be a SAP guru)

Skills and Experience

3+ yrs experience in a similar role

Exposure to maintenance or process engineering

Exposure to capital projects ideally, GxP, pharma background

Engineer or someone with technical background

Nice to haves

Large scale projects

Project Management

Operations readiness

Bulk Processing or Fill Finish

SAP experience
