Programmed Energy and Resources are currently seeking motivated Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates who are interested in a career in mining. This is an exciting opportunity to undertake a paid Haul Truck Traineeship while also gaining general mining operation experience with our valued client based in Muswellbrook.

About your new role:

• This competency-based traineeship leads to a nationally recognised qualification, Certificate III - Surface Extraction Operations and offers the opportunity to commence a career within the mining industry.
• Hands on experience in an on-the-job environment
• Follow a 12.5 hour rotating roster including days, nights and weekends
• 24-Month full-time traineeship role

About you:

• Safe and productive work ethic
• Hold a current Car P2 drivers' licence or higher - MUST be able to confidently drive a manual vehicle
• Be able to work a rotating roster including nights and weekends
• Provide recent work referees
• Be able to provide a local residential address in the Muswellbrook surrounds, this is NOT FIFO
• Be available to attend required interviews in the Singleton Office
• Able to undergo and pass full Order 43 Coal Services Health medical and D&A Test
• You will be asked to provide an RMS driving record for consideration if you are invited for an interview
