Founded in 1991, Deltareef is the premier construction company in North East Arnhem Land. Based in Nhulunbuy, NT, our 50+ employees design, manage & deliver infrastructure projects to our clients wishes. We have established long term contracts with Government and private clients.

The position:

We are looking for a qualified, driven & reliable Carpenter, who will be responsible for the safe and cost-effective delivery of various maintenance works on a variety of government contracts. The role:

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager your role will include:

· Government asset maintenance

· Community housing maintenance

· Community upgrades

What We Offer:

· $55.00 - $60.00 per hour (depending on skills & experience) + superannuation.

· Relocation assistance: flights and/or travel expenses which will be negotiated with successful applicant, including shipping of tools

· Permanent Accommodation in Nhulunbuy for you and your family to live, work and fish in paradise.

· FIFO role available if preferred

Experience Required:

· Carpentry trade certificate

· Broad carpentry skillset, glazing, plastering, tiling and lock smithing all desired.

· Construction Induction White Card

· Current Drivers Licence

· Working at Heights ticket

· NT Working with Children’s Card

· Positive attitude towards safety that meets our Federal Safety Accreditation

· Truck licence, civil experience with machinery tickets will be an advantage.

· Competent in ordering of materials.

· Sound experience with job tracking software.
