About the role
An opportunity has opened for a Senior Tax Accountant to join a global business on a 12-month contract, supporting tax compliance and advisory work across Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the Tax Manager and working closely with the finance team, this role will manage direct and indirect tax obligations and support broader tax initiatives including transfer pricing, tax governance, business integration and corporate reporting.

What we’re looking for
We’re seeking a capable, detail-oriented tax professional who can operate with autonomy and accuracy. You’ll have:

• Corporate income tax, GST, FBT, and payroll tax
• ATO and IRD disclosures and governance processes
• Transfer pricing and CBC reporting

• CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent)
• 5+ years’ experience in a tax role within a large corporate or Big 4 environment
• Strong knowledge of Australian and New Zealand tax legislation
• Experience across:
  
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• High integrity, sound judgement and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
• ERP system experience (e.g. JD Edwards) desirable
• Multinational exposure advantageous
