We are currently seeking to appoint a Senior Tax Accountant with our client based in Sydney CBD, the role is a 6 month contract.

The Senior Tax Accountant will assist the Head of Tax with all aspects of tax compliance and reporting with day-to-day responsibilities

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Tax Accountant include the following:

• Day to day compliance and tax reporting obligations of the entity and its subsidiaries
• Preparation of tax calculations and provisions, reporting and payment of all taxation liabilities to internal and external tax authorities
• Monthly preparation of various returns and lodgement with tax and revenue authorities
• Preparation and processing of tax journals and monthly reconciliation of tax accounts
• Tax analysis of certain sensitive accounts for reporting purposes;
• Preparation of transfer pricing documentation including Country by Country Reporting

About You:

• CPA/CA/CTA qualified is required
• Minimum 3 to 4 years + taxation experience in a CA firm or corporate environment
• Strong technical skills, with ability to lead and drive work through to completion autonomously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
