About the role
A newly created permanent opportunity has opened for a Tax Accountant to support both tax compliance and finance-related projects across the ANZ region. Reporting to the Tax Manager, this role will take ownership of direct and indirect tax responsibilities, internal reporting, and support broader initiatives including transfer pricing, superannuation reviews and business integration.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and support income tax, GST, FBT and payroll tax returns
• Assist with tax provisions, corporate reporting and tax disclosures
• Coordinate and manage transfer pricing documentation and CBC reports
• Support R&D tax claims, voluntary disclosures and payroll reconciliations
• Contribute to internal controls and process improvements
• Support business integrations and project delivery
• Collaborate across finance and non-finance teams to provide tax insight

About you

• CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent)
• 5+ years’ experience in a large corporate or Big 4-trained tax environment
• Strong technical tax knowledge and attention to detail
• Confident working across multiple tax areas (income tax, GST, FBT, payroll tax)
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Experience with ERP systems and project environments (advantageous)
