About the role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse to join the dedicated team at Waikiki Private Hospital. As a Clinical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support. This is a full-time/part time position. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to join our small and intimate hospital based in Waikiki, Western Australia.

We are looking for dynamic, driven Clinical Nurse with a passion to join our high performing and energetic 44 bed Surgical team, specialising in Pain, Opthalmology, General Surgery, Bariatrics, Gynaecology, Orthopaedic, Plastics and Urology.

This direct leadership role will see you supporting the Clinical Nurse Manager and act as a professional resource, lead, and support person for your fellow team members, and to provide patients with a high standard of dedicated and specialised care.

You will also be required to participate in Quality improvement Programs in line with organisational and departmental strategic plans.

Working collaboratively in a multi disciplinary healthcare team.

Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary health care team, to achieve goals and positive health outcomes.

Driving quality, patient care and delivering exceptional clinical outcomes.

Fast paced, friendly supportive environment.

What you bring

A minimum of 3 years experience in surgical nursing.

Current APHRA certificate.

Ability and drive to be adaptable and a team player.

Drive to learn and expand knowledge base as well as guide and support other staff.

Excellent clinical skills, including the ability to problem solve and anticipate the needs of the surgical team.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team.

Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Possess excellent time management skills and well development clinical problem-solving skills.

Team leading experience.
