About the role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join our pharmacy team in a vital support role. Working under the general direction of the AHA or AHP leader, you will operate with advanced competency in the delivery of pharmacy services across designated units. Your key responsibilities will include clinical support, dispensing, distribution, packaging of pharmaceuticals, inventory control, technical training of staff, and overseeing daily workloads. You will play an important role in maintaining quality standards, including the preparation and manufacturing of pharmaceuticals.
This position is integral to ensuring safe, cost-effective, and patient-centred drug therapy. You will work collaboratively with the AHA or AHP supervisor and provide critical support to the Pharmacy Manager(s) in delivering comprehensive services. About You
You will be a dedicated and experienced pharmacy professional with a strong clinical background and a passion for delivering safe, high-quality services. Your ability to supervise, teach, and support others while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment will be critical to success in this role.
Proven experience across multiple pharmacy practice areas, including hospital settings, with strong leadership, coaching, and training capabilities.
Excellent time management, organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and in team settings.
Strong technical aptitude including data entry, use of pharmacy software, and sound knowledge of pharmaceutical products, PBS, and manufacturing standards.
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, manual dexterity, and physical capacity to meet the practical demands of the role in a dynamic environment.
