In this rewarding role you will work in a team environment where every day will be different. With your can-do attitude, you will be responsible for providing general assistance in the full range of domestic duties to ensure our residents are able to "Live Life to the Full" in our home-like environment.

We are looking to hire a part time employee who has previous experience in laundry and housekeeping. This role is based at the North Turramurra.

There are a variety of shift: Monday to Friday am and pm Shifts as well as Sat and Sunday am shifts.

As a Support Service Employee your duties will include but not be limited to:

Assist with full range of domestic duties

Clean picture frames, wall ornaments and sanitise all towel dispensers, light and air-conditioning switches

Be responsible for the general cleanliness of the kitchen, including all appliances, storage areas, work benches and floors

Prepare clothing, garments and linen for washing and drying and perform those duties using safe handling of laundry chemicals

Make beds, change linen, turn mattress where necessary

Wet dust all picture frames and wall ornaments

Wet wipe and sanitise all towel dispensers, light and air-conditioning switches

Wipe over all lights in front foyer, lounge, activities room, and at the entrance.

Clean exhaust hoods in the kitchen

Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role.

Genuine compassion, commitment and enthusiasm.

Ability to work well in a team.

Empathy towards the elderly and respectful of their needs.

Able to provide evidence of COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations.
