About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join My Team Support Service as a Disability Support Worker in Albury, NSW. We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our team in Albury. In this role, you will provide high-quality support to individuals with disabilities, helping achieve their personal goals and enhance their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and support to individuals with disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, medication management, and personal hygiene.
• Support clients in participating in community activities and social events.
• Develop and implement individualized support plans.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment.

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in disability support or similar care role would be preferred.
• A genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work effectively with clients and their support networks
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome challenges
• A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle is highly desirable
• Relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent, are preferred
• NDIS workers check, working with children's check and NDIS modules or willingness to obtain the same.
