About the role

Finncare is seeking a passionate and experienced Wellness & Lifestyle Coordinator to join our dedicated team in Thornlands, Queensland. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging wellness and lifestyle programs that enhance the overall wellbeing of our aged and disability clients.

What you'll be doing

Develop and deliver a diverse range of wellness and lifestyle activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our clients

Collaborate with the care team to understand client needs and tailor programs accordingly

Organise and facilitate group activities, social events, and outings that promote social connection and community engagement

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of wellness and lifestyle programs, making adjustments as needed

Maintain detailed records and reporting on client participation and outcomes

Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Provide exceptional customer service and support to residents and their families

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role within the aged care sector

Cert IV in Leisure & Health (essential)

Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as leisure and lifestyle, recreation, or allied health (desirable)

Demonstrated ability to develop and implement engaging wellness and lifestyle programs

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients

Empathetic and compassionate approach, with a genuine passion for supporting the wellbeing of older adults and people with disabilities

Excellent organisational and time management skills

Proficient in the use of technology and software to support program delivery and reporting

Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
