Position Overview
We are on the lookout for a customer service rockstar to join our team as an Assistant Branch Manager at our Virginia branch. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on delivering exceptional experiences, takes pride in solving problems, and brings positive energy to every customer interaction. You’ll support the Branch Manager in overseeing operations while ensuring our customers drive away with a smile.
Responsibilities
Customer Service Excellence
Be the face of the branch — friendly, solution-focused, and committed to going above and beyond for every customer.
Respond to inquiries and issues with professionalism and energy.
Proactively look for ways to improve the customer journey and leave a lasting impression.
Turn customer feedback into action that strengthens service quality.
Branch Operations Support
Assist with the smooth daily operation of the rental branch.
Help oversee fleet standards, ensuring every motorhome is clean, safe, and road-trip ready.
Liaise with the workshop team to schedule maintenance and inspections.
Manage administrative tasks such as daily and weekly reporting.
Participate in the Saturday morning roster rotation.
Team Collaboration
Support the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff.
Lead by example in promoting a positive, service-focused culture.
Assist with staff mentoring and development under the guidance of the Branch Manager.
Financial and Compliance Assistance
Help monitor operating costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
Ensure day-to-day activities align with safety regulations and company policies.
Stay up to date with industry standards and ensure branch practices remain compliant.
Qualifications
A passion for helping people and a talent for solving problems
Friendly, confident, and great under pressure — especially when managing customers
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Team player with leadership potential
Experience in RVs, rentals, travel, or hospitality is a bonus (but not essential)
