About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Rostering Coordinator / Community Assistant Manager to join our office team. This role is essential to the smooth running of our operations, ensuring that support services are scheduled effectively, staff are informed and supported, and administrative processes run efficiently.
The successful candidate will report directly to the NDIS Supports Manager and will also step into a leadership role during their absence. You will work closely with support workers and administrative staff, playing a vital role in ensuring our participants receive consistent, timely, and high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain efficient and accurate staff rosters
Proactively fill vacant shifts and ensure adequate staffing for all services
Review shift instructions and client appointments to confirm accuracy and alignment with care plans
Ensure staff are informed of any changes or updates to their shifts
Complete and submit daily timesheets for payroll processing
Participate in the rotating after-hours on-call roster to manage urgent rostering matters
Conduct staff interviews and assist with onboarding processes
Schedule and coordinate staff supervisions and performance check-ins
Provide administrative support to the NDIS Supports Manager and the broader team
Manage general office tasks including filing, scanning, data entry, and documentation of service records
Act on behalf of the NDIS Supports Manager as needed
Skills & Experience
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to multitask, prioritise, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Previous experience in disability services, rostering, administration, or team coordination is highly regarded but not required
Confidence using ShiftCare, WhatsApp, Excel, Microsoft Word, and Adobe (or willingness to learn)
