About the role

As a Flooring Colour Consultant at Carpet Call QLD, you will play a vital role in helping our customers find the perfect flooring solutions for their new homes. This full-time position is based in one of our partner builder's showroom in Brisbane South, QLD, offering the opportunity to work within a dynamic and creative environment.

What you'll be doing

Consult with customers to understand their flooring needs, preferences and design goals

Provide expert advice on the latest flooring trends, materials and installation options

Demonstrate product features and benefits to help customers make informed purchasing decisions

Collaborate with the design team to create custom flooring solutions tailored to the customer's vision

Ensure exceptional customer service throughout the sales process

Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and stay informed on industry developments

What we're looking for

Proven experience in retail sales or customer service, preferably within the interior design or home improvement industry

Strong colour and design sensibilities, with the ability to translate customer ideas into tangible flooring solutions

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen, understand and meet customer needs

A creative and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to think outside the box

Familiarity with different flooring materials, installation techniques and industry standards is desirable but not essential.

A passion for providing exceptional customer experiences and contributing to the growth of the business
