Urban Rec is Australia’s biggest social sports club, and we’re changing the way adults play. With over 6,000 teams playing across 9 cities, we’re all about good vibes, new mates, and stress-free sport.

This is a full-time, entry-level management role based in Brisbane. You'll work independently, have heaps of ownership over your leagues, and play a huge part in growing our local community. It’s a 6-month contract to start, with the potential to extend.

🏆 About the Role

As a League Coordinator, you’ll be the legend behind the scenes (and sometimes courtside) making sure our leagues run smooth as a drop punt. This role is roughly a 60:40 split between daytime admin and evening league action.

You'll be responsible for:

Recruiting, training, and scheduling our part-time League Hosts

Managing equipment, prizing, uniforms, and venue logistics

Attending league nights to check on vibe, teams, and operations

Handling incoming enquiries, forfeits, and rain-outs with calm and class

Building strong relationships with teams, players, and venues

Running social events, theme rounds, and fun activations

Keeping communication with players clear, timely, and on-brand

👀 About You

You don’t need to be a seasoned sports pro but you should love sports and events. We’re looking for someone with energy, initiative, and attention to detail.

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

Are based in Brisbane and have a driver’s licence (you’ll visit venues weekly)

Are a confident communicator who can lead and motivate others

Can juggle multiple moving parts and stay one step ahead

Have a great handle on admin, organisation, and time management

Can handle complaints or tricky situations calmly and professionally

Are passionate about making sport fun, inclusive, and social for adults

Are available Monday–Thursday 11am–9pm, with a cruisy Flexi Friday
