The Public Protection Branch (PPB) Australian National Child Sex Offender Register (ANCOR) Principle Clinical Psychologist is a recognised clinical expert in Clinical Psychology practice and is responsible for the clinical governance and professional leadership of psychological services within the Public Protection Branch. To ensure best practice standards are achieved, the Principal Clinical Psychologist works in partnership with key stakeholders on initiatives, ensures contemporary interview, assessment, evaluation and risks identification are embedded in policy to support Senior Clinical Psychologists, branch objectives and operations.

The Principal Clinical Psychologist may also manage a clinical case load commensurate with responsibilities and is responsible for the clinical supervision and support of AHP3 Senior Clinical Psychologists.

Special Conditions

The incumbent must hold a current Australian work eligibility status and will be subject to a criminal history check.

The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.

Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.

The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL's iEngage program.

Requirements

Must hold a Master's Degree in Clinical or Forensic Psychology, be PsyBA-registered, and have an Endorsed Area of Practice.

Must be approved by the Psychology Board of Australia as a supervisor at all relevant levels.

Salary
AHP4 - $112,625 - $122,610 per annum.
