Elecnor Australia has an exciting opportunity for a Substation Engineering and Construction Administrator to join the team, based in the Sydney CBD.

Elecnor has been contracted to build EnergyConnect, a new 700km transmission line extending from Wagga Wagga NSW to the South Australian border.

This backbone infrastructure will connect customers with more renewable energy enabling a further 4950MW of generation capacity, save NSW customers $180 million a year and create 1,500 new construction jobs in regional NSW.

Construction of EnergyConnect is underway in various locations across the project area.

The Role

The Substation Engineering and Construction Administrator supports project delivery through documentation management, stakeholder coordination, progress tracking, risk reporting, and process improvement. Ensures alignment across engineering and construction teams while contributing to compliance, onboarding, and data-driven project insights.

Your focus will include:

Manage program inquiries, project documentation, and resolve issues to ensure timely delivery and alignment with project goals.

Liaise with internal stakeholders (engineering, construction, completion teams, project management, corporate office) and external partners (subcontractors, IT, software, events suppliers) to align program strategy, schedules, and deliverables.

Implement project tracking tools, reporting dashboards, and risk registers to monitor progress and identify improvements.

Support tendering and proposal processes by preparing and reviewing documentation to ensure compliance and alignment with project objectives.

Coordinate diary management, appointments, meeting rooms, and travel arrangements for staff and stakeholders.

Lead onboarding, training, and support for new personnel to ensure project understanding and integration

Drive process improvements through automation, enhancing data collection, accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Provide administrative relief to other staff, ensuring business continuity and smooth program delivery.

Develop and maintain digital tools for data analysis, delivering actionable insights and clear outcome reports.

Maintain general office administration, including internal and external event planning.

Liaise between corporate Elecnor Australia and project teams to align strategy and communications

What you will bring to the team:

Experience administering programs, ensuring alignment with objectives and technical requirements.

Skilled in managing and reviewing project documentation, registers, and performance reporting tools.

Ability to liaise with technical, Operational, and corporate stakeholders to coordinate deliverables.

Understating of tender submissions, compliance processes, and supporting onboarding of project personnel.

Competent in using digital platforms for data analysis, project tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Diploma or Degree preferred with 3 years relevant experience required
