You will be joining a well-known ASX listed company in the Media & Entertainment industry who are looking to significantly improve the processes and systems in place. This is a 6-month contract for a discreet project which will have a critical impact on the business in terms of dollars and time.

Core responsibilities:

• The first step is to understand the financial process of a complex payment system that has led to reconciliation issues
• Second step is to process map the various systems that are involved in the multiple payment process flows
• Recommend and ultimately help the team implement an improved process flow to ensure future payments reconcile between systems
• One you have proven that future payments reconcile undergo a full reconciliation process of payments for the past 12 months and potentially further back depending on materiality

Must-have attributes

• CA/CPA qualified with Big 4 audit experience is highly regarded but not necessary
• Finance Manager experience focused on controls is also highly regarded
• Must be detail oriented, hands-on, logical and structured
• Must have a process background and experience with process flow mapping
• Finance transformation experience highly regarded
• Must be strong with systems (payment related systems highly regarded)
• Must be advanced Excel user and highly capable of extracting data
• Must have strong communication skills
