At Banks Benchtops, we are leaders in the stone benchtop industry, providing premium stone surfaces for residential and commercial projects. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sales Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the estimation and sales process, delivering accurate quotes and assisting our clients in making informed decisions about their stone benchtop needs.

We are looking for a Full-Time Sales Superstar with a can-do attitude with a customer service based personality. We are looking for someone with availability Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm, with possibility of flexibility to hours for the right candidate.

Northside Brisbane – Brendale Branch

Key Responsibilities:

Provide accurate and timely sales estimates for stone benchtops based on client specifications and project requirements.

Collaborate with clients, designers, and project managers to understand project scope and provide cost-effective solutions.

Utilize company software and other tools to measure and create estimates for stone materials, cutting, and installation.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and pricing.

Generate and follow up on quotes, ensuring a smooth sales process.

Review project blueprints and drawings to identify project requirements.

Assist in material selection and provide recommendations based on customer preferences and budget.

Manage and track client communications to ensure timely responses and satisfaction.

Support the sales team with any additional administrative duties related to estimates and project follow-ups.

Requirements:

Previous experience in sales estimation, preferably in the stone, construction, or kitchen design industry is an preferred but not essential as full training is provided

Strong understanding of stone benchtop materials (e.g., granite, marble, quartz) and manufacturing processes is highly regarded

Proficiency in Xero software

Ability to work autonomously and within a team following business procedures

Ability to take direction and apply changes to processes as required

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in calculations.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

A background in construction or interior design is a plus, but not a necessity
