Our client is a well-known transportation business operating across Victoria who are looking for a Payroll Officer to join the team on a 12 month basis due to someone going on maternity leave. Reporting into the Head of Payroll, you will become apart of a team of 10.

Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Head of Payroll, you will be responsible for:

• Weekly processing for 400-500 employees
• Processing new starters, terminations, Masterfile changes, overtime, leave processing and report checking
• Interpretating relevant awards/EBA's and applying relevant policies
• Adjustment calculations
• Assisting with Work Cover administration
• Answering payroll queries

Candidate Profile
Our client believes a positive attitude is key to success! You will also have:

• 2+ years of payroll experience
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• A desire and willingness to learn, with strong problem-solving skills
• Confident personality that enjoys speaking to key stakeholders
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
