Qualifications & experience

All skills are taught on-the-job. General experience in a fabrication workshop would be advantageous. Ability to use hand tools/general understanding of manufacturing environments would also be advantageous.

Tasks & responsibilities

Fabrication of geomembranes and tank liners using welding techniques for industrial fabrics (hot air, wedge, high-frequency).

Reading, understanding and completing paperwork.

Reading and understanding basic drawings.

Maintain a clean and organised workplace following the principles of 5S.

Ensure you have a safe work environment.

Carry out quality assurance checks.

Packaging and labelling completed jobs in preparation for stores.

General factory labouring and assisting skilled staff in their tasks.
