FITT Resources undertake quality Gasket manufacture for an extensive variety of industries as well as supplying market leading sealing technologies into the same markets.

We currently have a vacancy for a full time Manufacturing assistant with general workshop TA experience to join our Gladstone team. In this role you would be expected to:

• Operate machines used in the gasket manufacturing process – Training will be provided.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment through good housekeeping.
• Assembly of gasket components
• Assist with packaging of orders for shipping.
• General tidiness.
• Other reasonable duties as directed.

To succeed in this role you will be a self-motivated individual, able to work autonomously or as part of team within a dynamic work environment. You will have a can do attitude, able to problem solve either individually or as part of a team effort to overcome challenges. Some other requirements are:

• Attention to detail.
• Responsible and reliable.
• Ability to work unsupervised safely
• Works to specified procedures.
• Prioritisation of duties and time management.
• Willing to work overtime as required.
• Some manual labour is necessary.
• Forklift and vehicle licences are desirable but not essential.

Experience in manufacturing processes or TA duties is preferred but not essential.
