An opportunity has arisen at our Peakhurst store for an all-rounder with the skills, motivation, and energy to manage the receiving, storage, and despatch of products and spare parts as well as other general duties thereby ensuring we deliver to our customers’ expectations.

A background in the garden power equipment market could be helpful but most importantly are the skills you bring and your motivation and pride in doing a good job.

About the Opportunity

The components of this role are:

Receiving stock into the GYC online system

Invoicing

Packing and Shipping freight

Stocktaking

Managing warehouse inventory

Mechanical and manual handling

This critical role ensures the supply of products and parts are available to our service team and our customers on time and in full. The role is a combination of managing processes, maintaining accurate administration, and completing some physical tasks.

About you

It is preferable that you have had recent warehouse experience and can demonstrate a record of achievement. You must have a forklift license, be self-motivated and a team player. In addition you need to be able to demonstrate proficiency in these areas:

Attention to detail

Ability to problem solve

Organisational & multitasking skills

Have an Excellent Phone manner

Be able to work in a team environment

Possess Sound Literacy and computer skills

While this is a full-time position (Monday to Friday) we are open to candidates who wish to work in a part-time/job share arrangement.
