Job Description
The Unicorn Bar is looking for a passionate and experienced Assistant Manager to support our team in Shenton Park, WA. This is a casual/part time role to start with the ability to move to full time for the right candidate and as we expand the business in size and opening hours. As part of the FAM Hospitality Group opportunities across the network are also available.

Requirements for this Role:

2–3 years of relevant hospitality or supervisory experience

Strong bar knowledge and proven leadership ability

An interest in wine, beer and cocktails

Expected salary: $31 – $36 per hour

20-25hrs to start with availability for night, and weekend shifts

This is a hands-on, leadership-driven role where you’ll lead from the front and by example. A key focus on service, teamwork and delivery quality food and beverage.

Oversee daily floor and bar operations

Lead and support team members during shifts

Assist with opening/closing duties, stock management, and rostering

Ensure smooth service and exceptional guest experiences

Help train new staff and foster a positive team environment

Who You Are

You’ve got solid hospitality experience and at least 1 year in a supervisory/leadership role

You’re confident running a busy floor, managing the bar, and jumping in wherever needed

You lead by example — calm under pressure, focused on solutions, and always guest-first

You’re reliable, proactive, and take pride in delivering warm, professional service

You’re passionate about food, wine, and building genuine relationships with guests
