The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Trade Assistant - Warehouse Storeperson to work with our production team at our Western Australia Branch for an immediate start.

How You’ll Make a Difference

Working closely with the Production Team, your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Prepare hose assemblies from components accordance with customer timeframes

Descaling and passivating hose assemblies using barrel and pedestal grinders, pickling paste, and passivation liquid (Both acid based).

Pressure testing hose assemblies using hydrostatic and pneumatic testing methods

Drying and capping of hose assemblies.

Uploading and filling out certificates.

Coordinate drop offs with couriers.

Ensure all product conforms to specifications (Quantities checked, items unpacked and measured).

Manage, maintain and monitor Stock Management System to ensure sufficient levels are held to service client lead times.

Ensure labelling, storage and stock rotation.

Distribute components for daily jobs as per sales orders and shelve stock items.

Ensure all product has been packaged appropriately for delivery.

Completion of dispatch documentation including digital requirements.

About You

As the successful candidate, you will have:

Certificate III in Transport and Logistics (Warehousing) or sufficient experience in a similar manufacturing/industry environment

Particular knowledge relating to hose equipment (hose, fittings and related products) and technical (engineering) capabilities of same would be highly desirable

Demonstrated flexibility to perform a variety of tasks in relation to the volume and range of work both on hand and incoming

Demonstrated ability to use a range of hand and power tools

Demonstrated ability in inventory management

Ability to communicate and liaise effectively with all stakeholders

Competent computer skills is a must

Forklift Licence

Drivers Licence

A willingness to cross-train in other areas to support staff leave (e.g. Production areas)
