About the role

As a Storeman/Trade Assistant at Air & Power, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient operation of our warehouse and distribution facilities in Belmont, Western Australia. This roll is available in Full time, Part time or casual & is responsible for the safe and accurate handling, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of compressed air products and parts.

What you'll be doing

Receiving, inspecting, and accurately recording the condition and quantity of incoming goods

Efficiently storing and retrieving items, maintaining accurate inventory records

Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders in a timely and accurate manner

Loading and unloading of vehicles

Preparing parts for service technicians

Performing basic maintenance and housekeeping tasks to ensure the warehouse is clean, organised, and well-maintained

Assisting technicians with service work and onsite installations

Dealing with customer inquiries at the service counter

Adhering to all health, safety, and quality procedures to ensure a safe working environment

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or trade assistant role

Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow procedures

Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual handling tasks

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Forklift license or willingness to obtain one

Commitment to safety and a collaborative team-oriented approach

No previous experience required, but if you're handy on the tools & can drive a forklift these are highly desired skills.
