About the role

Your Nurse Australia is seeking a skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team on a casual basis across NSW. As an ED Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional nursing care to patients in our acute care settings. What you'll be doing

Delivering high-quality, patient-centred nursing care to individuals in acute care settings

Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care plans to meet the specific needs of each patient

Closely monitoring patients' conditions and responding promptly to changes in their health status

Administering medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols and procedures

Collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the coordination and continuity of patient care

Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records, and contributing to the overall documentation and reporting process

Promoting a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, families, and colleagues

Participating in ongoing professional development activities to stay up-to-date with the latest nursing practices and standards

What we're looking for

Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia

Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a Theatre setting, must have scrub/ scout experience.

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions in fast-paced environments

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centred care and upholding the highest standards of nursing practice

Proficient in the use of technology and electronic medical record systems
