About the Opportunity

As a Waste Collection Driver, you will be working with a close-knit team of experienced drivers to undertake a variety of tasks in waste collections (including commercial, litter bins and domestic rubbish, Food Organics Garden Organics (FOGO), recycling and verge) to help keep the City of Melville clean, safe and beautiful. This is a dynamic, hands-on role where you’ll operate both rear loaders and side lift vehicles. This is more than just driving – you’ll be moving around, keeping you active and engaged as you navigate each day.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

Essential

Current ’HR’ Class Driver’s Licence

Demonstrated experience in waste collections in an urban environment

Experience in waste vehicle maintenance, including lift arm cleaning, greasing maintenance and defect identification

Knowledge of Work Health and Safety standards
