Flemington Child Care Co-operative is a community-based, not-for-profit centre licensed for 37 children. We are rated Exceeding in our most recent Assessment and Rating.

Our centre is governed by our parent Committee of Management and operates with high staff-to-child ratios to ensure the needs of both children and educators are well supported.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Diploma-qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our 0-2yo team at Flemington Child Care Co-operative. This is a permanent full-time position.

While experience is preferred, it is not essential. We are looking for someone with a positive mindset, a genuine love for working with children and families, and a commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

· A Diploma in Children's Services (or equivalent)

· A current Working with Children Check (WWCC)

· Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma training

· A current Mandatory Reporting Certificate

· A solid understanding of early childhood theories, the VEYLDF, EYLF, and NQS

· Commitment to the Child Safe Standards

· Strong understanding of child development and the ability to create engaging, play-based learning experiences

· Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills

· Sound written and verbal English language skills

What You’ll Be Doing

· Implementing engaging and developmentally appropriate educational programs that support the holistic development of children

· Fostering a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment that encourages children's creativity, curiosity, and self-expression

· Observing and documenting children's progress, and using this information to plan and adapt activities to meet their individual needs

· Collaborating with parents and caregivers to ensure a consistent and supportive approach to each child's learning and wellbeing

· Maintaining a safe and clean learning environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations

· Participating in team meetings, training, and professional development opportunities to continually enhance your skills and knowledge
