MPI has been engaged to provide a FIFO Sandblaster and a FIFO Painter for one of our clients. The Sandblaster and Painter will be maintaining, sandblasting, and painting conveyor structures around port infrastructure, operating machinery in both a static environment as well as mobile off the back of vehicles.

These are separate roles we seeking candidates for, however, they do require interchangeable skills and the ability to undertake minor maintenance tasks as/when required.

This is an 8/6 Roster FIFO from Perth to the Pilbara region in WA. These works will be ongoing and is offered on a temp to perm arrangement with our client for the right candidate. The pay rate is between $55-60 p/h and is a day shift only role.

To be considered you must have the following:

Experience working as a Sandblaster or Painter in heavy industry, mining, resources, or port/marine infrastructure

Must have MSIC (Maritime Security ID Card)

Valid Australian unrestricted driver's licence

National Police Clearance within 6 months

Have the ability to pass a pre-employment medical

Be able to provide a minimum of two contactable referees, relevant to your experience.
