Position: Project Engineer - NPI (Intermediate)

Role Summary

This site-based position plays a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI) components within a major iron ore construction project. The successful candidate will contribute across both the construction and commissioning phases, requiring strong practical knowledge across Civil, Structural, Mechanical, and Piping (CSMP) disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support construction and commissioning activities across multiple NPI work fronts.

Liaise with contractors, EPCM teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution.

Deliver technical support and hands-on problem-solving across a range of infrastructure packages.

Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to drive project milestones and objectives.

Track site progress, contribute to reporting and QA/QC processes, and assist in resolving construction-related issues.

Promote and uphold compliance with Client’s standards, procedures, and safety protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Extensive experience across Civil, Structural, Mechanical, and Piping (CSMP) disciplines within construction and commissioning environments.

Proven track record in delivering Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI) within the mining sector.

Demonstrated capability to operate effectively across both construction and commissioning phases.

Strong team player with a collaborative approach to project delivery.

Experience with Completion and Commissioning Management Systems (CCMS) is highly regarded.

Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a strong commitment to safety and performance outcomes.
